Indonesia farmers go green with charcoal

Farmers in Indonesia are using a new method to fight the effects of climate change, and also improve their harvest. This new method, which should more than double their production, uses charcoal - not a very environmentally friendly product. By putting it into the ground together with the seeds soil has become more fertile. Farmers have to bury the charcoal so greenhouse gasses are not emitted into the air.
