The Ministry of Rural Development (MRD) of Cambodia received a grant from NDF in 2010 for the financing of climate change adaptation measures in the road transport sector. The activities are targeted towards reducing the vulnerability of the Cambodian road network to climate change impacts. They comprise a wide variety of actions: capacity-building, preparation of vulnerability maps, assessments of various engineering options to reduce the impact of floods, piloting of green planning to increase the resilience of roads, as well as studies relating to the economic aspects of the various adaptation options.

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Cambodia today signed a grant agreement totaling $7.4 million to enhance communities’ resilience to climate change impacts in Koh Kong and Mondulkiri provinces.

PHNOM PENH, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Monday signed to provide grant and loan agreements worth nearly 99 million U.S. dollars to Cambodia for three development projects, the bank said in a press statement.
